Margaret Anne Jennings
- SAVANNAH – Margaret, 84, died June 1st at home, under hospice care and a loving family at her side.
Margaret was born in Montreal, Canada, in 1927, grew up in Oakville & Toronto. She graduated from St. Clement's School in 1946.
After graduating, she went to visit her sister in NY, remaining there to attend Katherine Gibbs School. She worked for Research Corp. for 6 years as secretary to the Director of Funding.
Margaret married G. Norman Jennings in 1951, and lived in New York, Massachusetts, Berlin, and London. Later they moved from Boca Raton, to Savannah, where she resided for the last 21 yrs.
SURVIVORS: her son, G. Douglas Jennings of Atlanta; two daughters, Cynthia Kester of Delray, FL., and Katherine Jennings of New York.; 6 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, June 6th, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church on Skidaway Island.
Contributions in her memory can be made to St. Peter's Church or Hospice Savannah.
